B110 mentors are trained to assist students enrolled in B110 with study skills and understanding course content. Mentors work with a B110 instructional team consisting of a faculty member, a graduate assistant, and a peer mentor. To apply to become a peer mentor, you must be a earning major or minor in psychology, completed B110 or both B104 and B105 with a grade of B or higher, have an overall GPA at least 3.0, and a psychology GPA at least 3.0.
If you are selected as a peer mentor, you will be assigned to a B110 section that fits your schedule. Mentors are required to attend and assist during class sessions and participate in a bi-monthly mentor seminar held on Fridays.
